Aged Description for horses which are 4 years or older.
American Quarter Horse Association (AQHA) Biggest American Association for Quarter Horses. This association has got the most recorded horses in the world. Each year the AQHA organizes many shows in Germany and America and all over the world. For example the World Show in Oclahoma or the European Championships in Kreuth or the int. German Championships in Aachen.
Americana European Championchip of the EWU (German Association) with some AQHA/DQHA shows. Biggest western riding show in whole europe and open for all kinds of races. Itīs taking place in Augsburg (Bavaria)-every two years. The next show will be in 2000.
American Paint Horse Association (APHA) is an association which only accepts Paint Horses (piebald Quarters). The APHA is also organizing shows in Germany and all over the world, which also have special disciplines for Breeding Stocks (onecoloured Paint Horse).
Appaloosa Horse Club Germany (ApHCG) The German association for Appaloosas (favourite Native American Horses).
All-Around (Champion) A all-around horse is a horse which has to be successful in at least 3 disciplines (in shows). For example Pleasure, Trail and Horsemanship, or: Reining, Cutting and Working Cow Horse. All-around Champion is someone who has got the most points in at least 3 disciplines in one show season.
Amateur An Amateur is no Youth and no professional who gets money for training or showing horses
